On May 25, 2026, Mahintana Foundation Inc. (MFI), through the HEALTH Plus Project Shop-In-a-Shop (HPSIS), conducted the turnover of the 70% share for Calendar Year 2025 during the Provincial Flag Ceremony of the Provincial Local Government Unit of South Cotabato.

The activity was attended by representatives from the Offices of the Governor and Vice Governor, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Chiefs of Hospitals, hospital personnel, provincial employees, and other stakeholders and partners of the province.

In her message, Ms. Liza Duropan-Lopez, Executive Director of MFI, highlighted the significant role of the HEALTH Plus Project in supporting Universal Health Care (UHC) and PhilHealthโs No Balance Billing Policy by ensuring the continuous availability of affordable medicines and medical supplies in government hospitals. She also emphasized the 17-year partnership between Mahintana Foundation Inc. and the Provincial Government of South Cotabato in strengthening healthcare delivery across the province.
Since 2009, the HPSIS has already served 731,623 patients. For Calendar Year 2025 alone, the program served 81,493 patients and fulfilled 99.99% of the 348,546 prescriptions forwarded to the system, demonstrating its efficiency and reliability in supporting hospital pharmaceutical services. For CY 2025, the highest recorded 70% share amounting to PHP 12.4 million was turned over, with PHP 4.76 million allocated to Norala District Hospital and PHP 7.64 million allocated to South Cotabato Provincial Hospital.
Beyond providing affordable generic medicines, Mahintana HPSIS continues to support the availability of essential medicines, vaccines, and medical supplies for specialized services such as hemodialysis units and Animal Bite Treatment Centers, further strengthening healthcare services in the province.
