A Plaque of Recognition was awarded by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to the Health Plus Shop in a Shop (HPSiS) Project of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato in partnership with Mahintana Foundation, Inc. on December 8, 2017 at Selah Garden Hotel, Pasay City.
The HPSiS in South Cotabato was recognized as one of the best practices of the Private Public Partnership in the country in the delivery of basic social services by the government and private partners to the community particularly to the poor and indigent patients. The HPSiS partnership started in 2008 and is now replicated in 9 public hospitals in South Cotabato, Sarangani Province and General Santos City complementing the “no balance billing” program of the government. The project is also a “Galing Pook” awardee in 2016.
Mr. Martiniano L. Magdolot, President and CEO of Mahintana, received the award together with the representatives from South Cotabato and DILG 12.
