On February 4, 2016, Mahintana Foundation together with Dolefil’s labor unions and cooperatives conducted a ‘Bayanihan’ Painting Activity on the newly constructed school building at Perfecto B. Salada Elementary School, Cannery Site, Polomolok, South Cotabato. The school has been chosen as a beneficiary of the Singkowelahan project which is being implemented in partnership between Dolefil’s labor unions and its business partners to help build classrooms for public schools in Region XII.
Present in the activity were the Chairpersons from LEAD.PH, Mr. Frances Gales; LEAD.Salaried, Mr. Fancisco Abrea; and LEAD.Calumpang, Mr. Albert Mendoza. Mr. Dennis Solderilla, a representative from DCOMPC was also present to witness the said event.
Ms. Geraldine Hinalao, the School Principal, expressed her appreciation to the members and officers of MFI, Dolefil & its labor unions and other partners, for being active advocates of education through this project.
