On August 20, 2015, the RESOURCEGov project team gathered at Viajera Dine & Café, Koronadal City for its 18th Project Implementation Team (PIT) meeting to review the progress made by the project. The EU-funded RESOURCEGov project is implemented by Mahintana Foundation, Inc. in partnership with CSDO-SC and SPECTRUM with the objective of helping improve the local governance, performance and service delivery of local government units in the marginalized communities of Central Mindanao.

Hosted by Mahintana Foundation, Inc., the meeting was attended also by representatives from the municipalities of President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat (Ms. Sarah Patadon, MLGOO and Ms. Elsie Relator, MPDC) and Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat (Mr. Ismael K. Annual, MLGOO and Mr. Ely C. Vidal, Municipal Treasurer).  The purpose of the meeting is to ensure that activities and outputs are running smoothly and will be achieved. Also, it is for the project team and partner LGUs to know and be updated with the current status, progress and learning from project implementation.

During the meeting, accomplishment and financial reports were presented at different levels (i.e. overall, per budget item, per partner, per LGU) and issues and concerns on project implementation were identified and acted upon to improve project performance. Mr. Martiniano Magdolot, MFI Executive Director, provided the Management updates while Mr. Jobe C. Tubigon, RESOURCEGov Project Manager, gave a thorough view of the main achievements to-date.

The next PIT meeting will be hosted by CSDO-SC.
