Harnessing the commitment and support of 54 volunteers from various partner organizations , Mahintana and Sarangani Resources Corporation were able to extend free medical and dental services to 172 beneficiaries coming from several adopted communities in Polomolok. The Lakbay-Buhay-Kalusugan medical/dental mission, held on August 12, 2015 at the Jorge Calderon, Sr. Park was part of the 38th Foundation Anniversary of Mahintana Foundation, Inc. and Sarangani Resources Corporation. services offered during the LBK were health lectures, medical consultation, bone scanning, FBS screening, dental consultation, dental cleaning, tooth extraction, and dispensing of free medicines and supplements.
The LBK was also possible with the support of volunteers from the South Cotabato Integrated Provincial Health Office, Municipal Health Office- Polomolok, Howard Hubbard Memorial Hospital, Philippine Dental Association – GenSan Dental Chapter, Rotary Club of Polomolok 101, Drs. Ric and Rose Rodaje and the BLGU’s of Cannery Site, Koronadal Proper, Lumakil, Sulit, Bentung and Sumbakil and the management and staff of Mahintana and SRC, who also manned different posts during the medical/dental mission.
