Celebrating the 38th Foundation Anniversary of Mahintana Foundation, Inc. was made even more meaningful with the presence of officials and key staff from different local government units who has been partners of the Foundation in the implementation of various community development initiatives , the success of which also contributed in sustaining MFI’s integrity as a social development organization, and in the promotion of life with dignity among project beneficiaries in the adopted and assisted areas. MFI presented plaques of appreciation to the Provincial Local Government Units of South Cotabato and Sarangani; the City Government of Gen. Santos, and the Municipal Local Government Units of Polomolok, Tupi, Lake Sebu, Tampakan , Lambayong, Pres. Quirino, Libungan, Aleosan, Malapatan and Maasim.
Balloons were released in conclusion of the Solidarity Prayer offered by MFI BOT and SRC President Engr. Carlos Baldostamon Jr.
Present during the Anniversary Program held at the Jorge Caldero, Sr. Park were Mr. Lawrence Griño- Municipal Administrator of LGU Polomolok and Atty. Melquiades L. Hernadez III – Director for Corporate Affairs of Dole Philippines, who gave their messages on behalf of Mayor Honey L. Lumayag-Matti and VP & Managing Director Randolph I. Fleming , respectively. A Thanksgiving Mass was offered earlier, officiated by rev. Fr. Bobby Parreño of the Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish attended by members of the Board of Trustees, management and staff of Mahintana and SRC . Following the Anniversary program was the Lakbay-Buhay-Kalusugan medical/dental mission.
