On October 29, 2025, Mahintana Foundation officially launched the Mainstreaming Opportunities and Ventures for Economic Upliftment of People (MOVE-UP) Project funded by BPI Foundation, Inc., during the celebration of Cooperative Month at the Covered Court of Brgy. Landan, Polomolok, South Cotabato. The activity was organized in partnership with the DOLEFIL CARES Program, together with the Local Government Unit of Polomolok, Landan People MPC, and Save the Children Philippines.

Under the livelihood component, fifteen (15) beneficiaries from Purok Buluan each received a piglet, a sack of pre-starter feeds, and vitamins — forming their initial asset bundle for livestock-based income generation. This initiative aims to strengthen household livelihood capital and improve community resilience against economic vulnerabilities.

In addition, 369 beneficiaries received free medical consultations and medicines under HEALTH Plus Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan, in partnership with the Polomolok Municipal Health Office (MHO) and the Rotary Club of Polomolok 101. More than 100 children received fluoride cleaning, while another 100 were provided with tooth-care sets by the Rotary Club to reinforce proper oral hygiene. Complementing these interventions, over 30 beneficiaries received free eye consultations and eyeglasses courtesy of Eyes on Eye Care Optical Clinic, while more than 700 individuals benefited from feeding activities serving micronutrient-rich Nutribuns and carrot soup.
Meanwhile, the COMPACT Year 3 Team, along with the community groups, facilitated youth-focused activities such as fun games, a poster-making contest, and counseling sessions for sponsored children to promote creativity, psychosocial development, and values formation.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Emil Sta. Cruz of Dolefil Agri Operations; Mr. Erwin Balogo, ComRel Superintendent; Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Jingle Bansuelo-Carlos; Hon. Rebecca Diale, Barangay Captain of Landan; Mr. Rhyolite Balili, Executive Staff of the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Polomolok; Engr. Ruel Herezo, Polomolok Peoples’ Council President; Ms. Gina Malumpong representing Landan People MPC; and Ms. Lulanie Justo, Community Development Officer of Save the Children.
The activity demonstrated strong multi-sector collaboration — showing the collective commitment of BPIFI, DOLEFIL CARES, the LGU, community organizations, and Mahintana toward improved health access, strengthened livelihoods, and enhanced youth well-being in the communities it serves.
