The Public-Private engagement between Mahintana Foundation, Inc. and the Provincial Government of South Cotabato  in the implementation of the Health Plus project aimed at increasing access of the marginalized sector to affordable and quality essential drugs and medicines has earned the highest honors during the recently concluded Galing Pook Awarding Ceremony  held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City on September 01, 2015. This was alongside PLGU South Cotabato’s entry Minahang Bayanihan aimed at regulating the practice of small scale mining and promoting sustainable mining practices in the province. No less than the Provincial Governor , Hon. Daisy P. Avance-Fuentes presented both projects during the panel presentation and deliberation on August 31, 2015. Showing support to the project and to the Governor during the panel presentation was the South Cotabato contingent composed of provincial officials (Sangguniang Panlalawigan members), chiefs of offices and representatives from Mahintana and the Integrated provincial Health Office. The two projects submitted by the Provincial Government were among the finalists recognized as the Ten Outstanding Local Governance Programs and eventually earned the top distinction for PLGU South Cotabato.
