From May 27-29, 2024, GCERF National Adviser Atty. Jennifer Buan engaged in a series of visits to the ProPEACE 2 Programme partners, including the Culubi United People’s Integrated Farmers Association (CUPIFA) in Barangay Lapu, Polomolok, the 5th Special Forces Battalion headed by LTC Danny C. Magaso INF (GSC) PA (Commanding Officer), and the 10th SF Company headed by CPT. Rogie Muñoz (Commanding Officer). They had been consistently part of the continuous efforts to support and uplift the community.
Additionally, Atty. Buan met with the Moro Youth Organization of Polomolok and joined the onsite visit to the proposed Cultural Heritage Learning Center (CHLC) at Landan National High School, alongside the 549th Engineer Battalion, 54th Engineer Brigade of the Philippine Army. Further visits included our supported livelihood partners in Sapu Masla, Malapatan, Sarangani Province, through the Maguindanaon Development Foundation, Inc., featuring the Sargen Muslim Women’s Consumers Cooperative specializing in tailoring and dressmaking, and the Principled Achievers Rendering True Service Inc., focused on Virgin Coconut Oil production.
These activities are integral to the ProPEACE 2 Programme, which aims to foster peace and security among the tri-people communities and enhance livelihood and economic opportunities.
