ProPEACE 2 Programme Conducted series of sessions focused on the harmonization of programs and support for assisted communities both in South Cotabato and Sarangani areas.
On May 06, 2024 at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, ProPEACE in collaboration with South Cotabato stakeholders including the MLGOOs, CSO Desk Officers, People’s Council of Banga, Lake Sebu, Polomolok, Tboli, and Tupi headed by Mr. Hayd-Ali Suwaib, DILG OIC-Provincial Director, 10th SFC, 11th SFC, 12th SFC, and 5th SF Bn headed by LTC Danny Magaso (Commanding Officer) conducted session covering presentations on existing programs and support provided to the assisted communities, discussed future steps, updates, opportunities, and addressed challenges to enhance the impact of the programme.
Subsequent session was held last May 13, 2024 at Kasfala Hall, Provincial Capitol, Alabel, Sarangani Province attended by Sarangani stakeholders including Ronda Probinsya, Alabel CSO, Sarangani Youth, PLGU-PSWD, CSO Malapatan, Tri-People Affairs and 73rd IB (Philippine Army) and conducted follow up meeting last May 30, 2024.
On May 17, 2024 at Glan, Sarangani Province, the ProPEACE Implementation Team (Mahintana, Kasilak Development Foundation, OND-HESED Foundation, Tribal Leaders Development Foundation, and Maguindanaon Development Foundation) conducted final review and presentation of the harmonized programs and support and identified key focus areas, particularly in supporting People’s Councils, Youth Development, Madrasah education, and Indigenous Peoples (IP) initiatives.
This sessions encourages active participation on the partner stakeholders thereby maximizing supports and its impact on the community.
