The CSO Academy of SOCSARGEN triumphantly marked the graduation of twenty scholars from various Civil Society Organizations in the Province of South with its inaugural Recognition Ceremony, held yesterday at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill in Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The CSO Academy is a valuable initiative that addresses the critical need to enhance the capacities and competencies of CSOs in the Philippines. By equipping CSOs with the necessary skills and knowledge, the CSO Academy empowers them to play a more effective and impactful role in local governance, social accountability, and their own organizational sustainability.

DILG Undersecretary for Local Government, Marlo L. Iringan, CESO III, along with esteemed guests, including Hon. Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., Governor of South Cotabato, RD Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III of DILG Rehiyon Dose, RD Akmad J. Usman of DBM XII, Mr. Martiniano L. Magdolot, President of Mahintana Foundation, Inc., and MFI Executive Director, Ms. Liza Duropan-Hora, as well as Ms. Cecile Dominguez-Yujuico of the Association of Foundations, Inc., led the distribution and awarding of diplomas and special accolades to the accomplished Batch 1 Graduates.
