In a concerted effort to support the campaign of Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, ”PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners and Trees,” which aims to benefit students, the environment, and families, Mahintana Foundation, Inc., through its Ridge to Reef Program, together with Dole Philippines, Inc., has joined the Tree Growing activity conducted by the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Bernie D. Palencia along with other private stakeholders, government agencies, and academic institutions in Polomolok, South Cotabato.
The activity involves planting 6,000 hills of fruit forest trees at Purok 8, Brgy. Kinilis, Polomolok, and 500 hills of bamboo at Camp Española, Sitio Salol, Barangay Palkan, Polomolok, South Cotabato. This collaborative effort serves as a testament of unity, where organizations and communities converge for a common purpose. Through this effort, seeds of hope were planted for a brighter future where education flourishes and the environment thrives.
