Mahintana Foundation, Inc. together with the members of the Polomolok Task Force Kalusugan (PTFK) headed by Mayor Honey Lumayag-Matti, held a PTFK meeting on COVID Response Management and Other Heath Updates.
Present via Zoom were representatives from the local government unit of Polomolok headed by Mayor Matti, Municipal Health Office of Polomolok (MHO) through Dr. Edwin Dipus and Dr. Earl Edward Dimamay, Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) through Dr. Rogelio Aturdido, Jr., Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) led by Mr. Junbard Mahinay, Howard Hubbard Memorial Hospital represented by Dr. Eva B. Hormigos, Dole Philippines, Inc. through Ms. Julietta Burgos, public schools, and department heads.
Agenda included COVID updates from the IPHO, updates, plans and guidelines from the MHO (swab and testing, isolation facilities, PIU facility, proposed PPP COVID response and management, and vaccination plan, management of communicable diseases, and other matters. Over 50 representatives took part in the meeting for updates regarding the current status of Polomolok and to coordinate next steps regarding the rising cases in the municipality. A resolution requesting an increase in vaccine allocation for the Polomolok was proposed.
