MOU ceremonial signing, project implementers with partners – local chief executives and department heads

To officially commence the GCERF-funded (Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund) Promoting Peace Engagements and Community Empowerment (ProPEACE) Programme, Mahintana Foundation, Inc. (MFI) together with CSOs, partners, and other stakeholders held a programme launching on February 18, 2021, at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

Notable guests include Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Assistant Secretary for Public Safety and Security Alexander Macario and Regional Director Ms. Josephine Leysa DILG 12, representatives from DepEd 12, and local chief executives of Sarangani and South Cotabato. A ceremonial signing of memorandum of understanding with Local Chief Executives and partner organizations also took place. 


ProPEACE programme aims to contribute to the overall peace and security of the region by increasing religious and cultural tolerance. It will be implemented two years in Sarangani and South Cotabato in 8 target municipalities.
