Braving sun and rain and muddy uphill foot paths, a team of Mahintana staff headed by Executive Director Martiniano L. Magdolot visited Sitio Kling Blowon, Barangay Datal Bob, T’boli early morning of December 13, 2013 bringing with them gifts for the children of Sitio Kling Blowon and neighboring Sitio Lamlago . Village leaders and children gathered in a local church for the short program and gift giving. 64 children from Kling Blowon and 28 from Lamlago received school bags, school supplies, new underwear, slippers loot bags and food packs from the staff. Parents and village leaders profusely thanked the staff for their gifts.
The annual community gift giving is an outreach activity conducted by Mahintana which allows the employees and staff to share their blessings with constituents of a project area. Kling Blowon is the recipient of a water system project implemented by MFI in partnership with Peace and Equity Foundation , Dolefil and the Muslim –T’boli United Farmers Association.
