Smiles and tears of joy from Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are priceless to see. These responses had been the quiet expression of gratitude of wheelchair beneficiaries during the previous wheelchair turn-over caravans of the Alay Gabay para sa Maginhawang Buhay: Wheelchair Project.
This year 2012, the project, implemented in partnership with Dole Philippines, Inc., in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), shall continue to reach out to PWDs to provide mobility support and lighten the care-giving services of their families, broaden their economic opportunities and ultimately bring smiles on their faces.
