MAHINTANA REACHES OUT TO THE 63 SCHOOLCHILDREN OF BRGY. SUMBAKIL, POLOMOLOK SOUTH COTABATO
Mahintana Foundation Inc., in partnership with Dole Philippines Inc., distributed gifts to the 63 schoolchildren in Brgy. Sumbakil, Polomolok, South Cotabato. Thirty-five (35) kindergarten pupils of Sumbakil Elementary School and 28 pupils of Sumbakil Day Care center received bags, school supplies, tooth brush, toothpaste and vitamin supplements. Brgy. Sumbakil Captain Asgar Mangelin welcomed Mahintana staff and thanked for them for the gifts. Mahintana Admin and Finance Officer Ms. Liza D. Hora gave the message in behalf of Mahintana and Dole Philippines. The schoolchildren also enjoyed the games and snacks prepared. Nutripan bread, Calamansi juice and ice cream were given as snacks.
G-WATCH ORGANIZATION DOCUMENTS RESOURCEGOV PROJECT SITES’ BEST REPLICABLE PRACTICES
On December 10-12, 2018, G-Watch Organization sent two of its researchers to check on and document the best replicable practices of RESOURCEGov Project. A total of 31 (Make 16, Female 15) participated in the 3-day activity. RESOURCEGov Project Coordinator Mr. Jobe C. Tubigon and Documenter Ms. Lorielyn P. Patoc escorted Ms. Maria Victoria Manlanque and Ms. Anna Margarita Bueno to project sites in South Cotabato and Sarangani. The LGUs visited were: LGU Polomolok (ODK in the MPDO and LITS in the SB Office), LGU Lambayong (ODK in the BPLO), LGU Tampakan (LITS in the SB Office), Sangguniang Panlungsod General Santos City (LITS Nook and LITS cascade in the 26 barangays), and LGU Maasim (CSO Participation in the local government). Aside from the replicable practices, the researchers found out that the success of the project also lies on the relationship between the LGUs and the project implementer.
This activity aims to document the best practices of the different EU-funded projects under its CSO-LA Programme in the country to be compiled and made into an EU Guidepiece.
