LGU Polomolok, Dolefil and Mahintana convened for a dialogue on January 31, 2020 at the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Polomolok Municipal Hall. The said dialogue was participated by Municipal Mayor Hon. Honey Lumayag-Matti, Municipal Vice Mayor Atty. Xavier Bayan, Mr. Municipal Administrator Laurence Griño, Municipal Planning Development Officer Mr. Eronio Muno, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Mr. Rodelen Atimonan, MENRO Staff Mr. Eupee Zainal Abedin, MENRO Enforcer Mr. Eduardo Dignadice, Dolefil Agri Division Superintendent on South Zone Operations/SoilCon/LandPrep Mr. Rowen Lacanaria, Dolefil Agri Division Superintendent on North Zone Operations/SoilCon/LandPrep Mr. Danny Dagooc, DARBC Community Relations Manager Mr. Cecilio Balili, Dolefil Community Relations Department Supervisors Mr. Evren Managuit and Mr. Erwin Balogo, and Mahintana Foundation, Inc. President & CEO Mr. Matiniano Magdolot and Project Officer Mr. Luwee Roy Siacor.
The meeting was called to discuss about the Crossing Repolyo roadside incident that happened on December 9, 2019 particularly the damage of at least 300 “lawaan” hills due to Dolefil’s field operations. Dolefil, in return, took action by replanting 400 “lawaan” hills to replace the damaged trees and conducted an Information and Education Campaign to prevent such incident in the future.
