Mahintana has recently been awarded two plaques of recognition for its outstanding contributions to civic engagement and local governance.
The first plaque, awarded as the Grantee of the 2024 Civil Society Participation Fund, recognizes Mahintana’s exemplary service, invaluable contributions, and active partnership with the Department of Interior and Local Government in advancing civic engagement in local governance. The second plaque, shared with the DILG XII and Provincial Government of South Cotabato, recognizes its pioneering efforts in establishing the Civil Society Organization Academy in SOCCSKSARGEN. This academy, a collaborative effort between civil society, local government, and academe, contributes to the capacity development of CSOs.
These accolades were presented during the National CSO Conference 2024, held on September 18, 2024, in Clark, Pampanga, underscoring Mahintana’s commitment to strengthening its partner organizations, local government units, and agencies through capability enhancement.
