On January 30, 2024, a successful collaborative effort concluded with Dole Philippines, Inc., represented by the Senior Manager for Corporate Affairs, Ms. Leamor Bañaga, along with PHO Dr. Arvin Alejandro and Municipal Mayor Hon. Vic Paul Salarda. The culmination awarded 50 beneficiaries whose nutritional status improved.
Dolefil and MFI provided snacks, oral kits, vitamins, and buntis kits to the awardees, while OMAG supplied vegetables and 5 kgs of rice. In total, SMILE sa Nutrisyon helped 277 beneficiaries, including pregnant women and children under 5 years old. Notably, 61% of malnourished children were nourished, and 100% of pregnant women with low BMI were normalized.
