The ProPEACE Programme recently concluded a successful dialogue that brought together various tribal groups and key stakeholders, reaffirming a shared commitment to fostering peace within the community. The event was graced by notable figures, including Datu Ambas S. Cartil Sr., President of MCE; Sultan Rahman Ibrahim, Deputy Governor of Muslim Affairs; 1Lt. Michael Jordan, Commanding Officer of the 38th Infantry Battalion; PEMS Ariel M. Necesito from the PNP Polomolok; Municipal Administrator Mr. Gerry Barrientos; Ms. Leah May L. Orencio, ECLIP Focal Person; Municipal Councilor Hon. Florence Bansuelo Carlos; Mr. Bernabe Bartolome, President of the Municipal Ministerial Association; Fulong Jerome Y. Ante, Municipal IPMR; and representatives from both the MILF and MNLF.
The gathering highlighted the vital role of collaboration in maintaining harmony and resolving conflicts within the region. It also served as a key platform for introducing the newly appointed heads of the PNP and the 38th Infantry Battalion Philippine Army, who presented their strategies and programs aimed at reinforcing peace-building efforts.
