The COMPACT Project of Mahintana conducted a Capacity Building session and Enhancement Workshop for CLGs, CSGs, and CSOs in Maitum, Sarangani Province focused on self-awareness, laws and policies on children, CP Referral Pathways, ASRHR, gender, and CEFMU.
The activity aims to empower the CLGs, CSGs, and CSOs of Maitum with knowledge on Children’s Rights, ASRHR, Republic Act 11596, the Adolescent Pregnancy Bill, and the Child Protection Referral Pathway. Additionally, participants were guided to formulate individual and joint action plans for implementation in their barangays and communities. The activity also emphasized the active participation in capacity building and the development of both individual and joint action plans for CSGs, CLGs, and CSOs. The Capacity Building and Enhancement Workshop fostered strong connections, collaboration, and unity among the CLGs, CSGs, and CSOs, as well as with Save the Children Philippines and the Mahintana Foundation, Inc.
