Mahintana Foundation Inc. and the Provincial Government of Sarangani has signed a memorandum of agreement for the establishment of Health Plus Shop-in-a Shop Pharmacy in all province run hospitals in Sarangani.
In simple rites held at the Office of the Provincial Governor last December 2, 2013 ; MFI President Bienvenido L. Perez and Sarangani Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon affixed their signatures on the Memorandum of Agreement covering all provisions for the establishment of the pharmacies. The signing ceremony was witnessed by MFI Admin and Finance Officer Liza D. Hora, Franchise Manager Rey F. Gabilagon , OIC- Provincial Health Officer Dr. Arvin Alejandro, other Provincial Officials and chiefs of hospitals.
The Health Plus Shop-in-a Shop Pharmacies will complement the existing hospital pharmacies in providing affordable medicines to both in-patients and out-patients of the five district hospitals in Sarangani.
The ceremony was followed by a meeting of the Technical Working Group to finalize the details of the pharmacy renovation , hiring and training of staff and system launching of the HPSiS in Glan and Kiamba.
