Since its approval on August 2011, the Material Resources (MR) Distribution Program, funded by the Lutheran World Relief (LWR), implemented in partnership with Dole Philippines, Inc., has identified its beneficiaries and have started a series of Non Food Items (NFI) distribution activities in SOCSKSARGEN area.
The undertaking aims to provide assistance to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) affected by natural calamities and incidents caused by human error, such as flash floods and fire. It has also included addressing the basic health and school needs of the Indigenous Peoples (IP) in the upland and boundary communities, promoting health practices among pregnant and lactating mothers and school children.
