On January 24, 2020, guests from International Finance Corporation (IFC) Shino Saruta, Operations Manager of IFC. Niraj Shah, Social Specialist of IFC. Jeremy Ansell Senior environmental specialist of IFC and Sierra Tropical Ltd. Head Nurse Maria Hernandez, accompanied by Dolefil VP & Managing Director Mr. Nicholaos Yiannakis, visited Mahintana Foundation Inc. to learn about the organization’s programs and activities on community development. They also toured the Cannery Community Nursery for a short orientation.
To leave a remarkable memory of their visit, they participated in the ceremonial tree growing activity using bagras seedlings at 116C field gully to take part on the advocacy of the foundation on environmental protection and conservation.
