Celebrating the 47th anniversary of Mahintana Foundation, Inc., the HEALTHPlus Program of MFI successfully conducted a medical mission, dubbed as “𝑳𝒂𝒌𝒃𝒂𝒚 𝑩𝒖𝒉𝒂𝒚 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒏,” in Barangay Lumakil, Polomolok, South Cotabato. The program benefited a total of 461 beneficiaries, providing medical check-ups, dental services, Operation Tuli, blood typing, random blood sugar testing, active case findings for TB, and haircut services.
In addition to these services, the Polomolok Rural Health Unit achieved 360 e-Konsulta patients and conducted community orientations on Universal Healthcare and the newly opened Polomolok General Hospital.
The LBK event was made possible with the support of the PLGU of South Cotabato, represented by Ms. Sonia Bautista, PSWDO, and Atty. Leah Orencio, E-CLIP Focal Person; the LGU Polomolok, represented by Mr. Rhyolite Balili, Polomolok Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Mary Grace D. Salmorin, MD; the BLGU of Lumakil, represented by Hon. Romeo A. Gulmatico; Dole Philippines Inc., represented by Mr. Erwin Balogo, Community Relations Superintendent; Mahintana Foundation’s Operations Officer, Mr. Roel Ian P. Blanker; and CPT. Rogie Munoz of the 10th SF Company.
Through this, Mahintana Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to improving the health and well-being of communities. By fostering strong partnerships and sustained collective action, this medical mission exemplifies the transformative power of collaboration in addressing healthcare needs.
