51 Community Health Brigade (CHB) volunteers have undergone a two-day Leadership and Cooperative Development Training last August 7-8, 2013 for Batch 1 and August 15-16, 2013 for Batch 2. Both batches were held at T’boli Hotel in General Santos City. Conducted under “Reaching the Urban Poor” (RUP) Project of World Health Organization (WHO) and implemented in partnership of Mahintana Foundation, Inc. (MFI) with City Health Office (CHO) of General Santos City, participants were CHB officers from 9 beneficiary sites of the project. The training aimed to strengthen the leadership skills of the participants and assist them in their cooperative development process. Ms. Mary Luzviminda T. Herezo , a freelance consultant and a former MFI Training Officer was tapped as resource speaker for the training.
