On March 14–15, 2026, Project COMPACT conducted “COMPACT CLG Power-Up: Lakas, Boses, at Aksyon Para sa Mas Matatag at Aktibong CLG” at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City.

The activity brought together young leaders from Maitum, Polomolok, and Tupi, including members of various Child-Led Groups such as Pag-asa ng Kabataan ng Batian, Youth Advocates for Change, Angat Batang Upo, Child-Led Group Landan, Junior Barangay Officials – Maligo, CLG Rubber, Bantay Bata Buhay Pag-Asa–Acmonan, Junior Barangay Officials – Kablon, and Child-Led Group Miasong.
Also in attendance were Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) representatives from the barangays of Rubber, Maligo, Acmonan, Miasong, Batian, Upo, and Tuanadatu, as well as Municipal Child Representatives from Polomolok, Tupi, and Maitum.
The event was further strengthened by the presence of Adult Supports and partners from the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), MSWDO, and Save the Children Philippines.

To expand collaboration and amplify advocacy efforts, five youth organizations were also invited to explore partnerships. These include TAYO and Youth for Peace Movement (Tupi), 4H Club (Polomolok), and Bantayog Organization and Youth in Action – Sarangani Chapter (Maitum).
The activity aimed to strengthen child-led groups in leading meaningful advocacy campaigns, particularly in preventing and addressing adolescent pregnancy and CEFMU, while building strong partnerships with organizations in their communities. During the activity, participants reviewed and updated their Organizational Capacity Assessment results and development plans, explored collaborations with other children and youth groups, reflected on their advocacy campaigns and recommendations in the MCPC, and planned “Pondong Pambata” proposals and advocacy agendas at the Barangay and Municipal levels.
