From July 18 to 20, the COMPACT Team conducted a Proposal Development Workshop with children at the Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City. The event brought together 55 participants from Sarangani and South Cotabato, including representatives from 12 Child-led Groups and other Civil Society Organizations.

The workshop focused on advocacy and campaign planning, which laid the groundwork for the participants to develop their own project proposals. With technical input and continuous support from the project team, the children successfully drafted proposals tackling critical issues such as gender-based violence, adolescent pregnancy, and child marriage. Two successful proposals will be considered by the project for funding while others will be lobbied to partners for implementation.

The project team remains committed to guiding the children in finalizing their proposals for endorsement and implementation within their communities.
