Mahintana, through its ProPEACE Programme, in collaboration with teachers, volunteers, and IP Elders from Landan National High School, successfully conducted a three-day session from July 18-20, 2024. This session focused on the enhancement and finalization of the Curriculum Guide and Resource Materials for the IP Senior High School at Landan National High School, alongside the translation of Blaan stories into Cebuano, Filipino, and English.
This initiative supports the Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) Program of the Department of Education (DepEd), particularly in enhancing the curriculum for IP Senior High Schools to be culturally responsive. By promoting the value of indigenous knowledge, skills, and various aspects of cultural heritage, this endeavor aligns with the ProPEACE initiative to foster greater tri-people community participation through education.
