RESOURCEGov 2 team conducted the User’s Training on Project Monitoring, Business Establishment and Real Property Tax Mapping using ODK/Qlik Applications on March 22-23, 2018 to LGU Tago held at Annex Bldg., Tago, Surigao del Sur. A total of 17 participants were present comprised of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator and staff, Municipal Engineer and Staff, Municipal Treasurer and staff, Municipal Assessor’s Officer (MASSO) and Staff and MLGOO, including the same project staff who facilitated the LITS training the day before.
When asked about their expectations for the activity, Mr. Jubert Tutor, MPDC and Engr. Hilario Bautista, ME shared that they were excited to be a part of this activity as this will provide new and interesting updates on their monitoring process. Mr. Jobe C. Tubigon, Operations Manager of Mahintana Foundation, Inc. presented the gave the rationale of the activity and a short video clip about the foundation. He discussed the trends on locally-sourced revenue which includes sample data from other LGU- Tax Map, Business Permit Monitoring and Budget Tracking for LGU. He also conferred the Process Flow of ODK-based Monitoring. Project Officer Mr. Byron E. Delandrino then led the participants in the step-by-step tutorials. After the installation and online registration, the participants conducted a mock survey using the forms they have generated and presented it to the group. Also, Mr. Tubigon provided the participants with customized forms for their monitoring and mapping needs. Mr. Delandrino presented the tutorial on Qlik Sense application. The participants experienced to generate reports of their LGU Fiscal Performance through the said application
