RESOURCEGov 2 Team conducted the Legislative Information Tracking System (LITS) User’s Training for LGU Tago on March 21, 2018 held at the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Session Hall, Tago, Surigao del Sur. There was a total of 14 participants which was comprised of the SB Members, SB Secretary and the SB staff including the 4 members of the project team namely, Mr. Jobe C. Tubigon, Mr. Byron Delandrino, Ms. Myra Macla and Mr. Nigel Zanorio.
SB Member Noel L. Gualvez led the prayer and SB Member Aloysius R. Espinosa welcomed the project team in behalf of Hon. Vice Mayor Alex Bautista. He expressed their gratitude for the opportunity given the LGU to be one of the beneficiaries of the project. Mahintana Operations Manager Mr. Jobe C. Tubigon presented the project rationale of RESOURCEGov 2 project and presented a short video clip showcasing the projects of Mahintana Foundation, Inc. Project Officer Mr. Byron Delandrino discussed the LITS overview.
After the training, the team guided the SB staff to install LITS to a total of five (5) computer units. The SB members shared that they are expecting an efficient legislation process by acquiring the system and that this activity will pave the way to a paperless legislation.
