The event covered the grand celebration of the Ceremonial Turnover of the Subdivision as it is graced by the Senior Vice President of the Worldwide Manufacturing and Business Development, Mr. Danko Stambuk; Vice President and Managing Director of Dole Philippines, Inc., Mr. Randolph J. Fleming; Local Government Unit of Polomolok, in the person of Hon. Kag. Allan Ines; Dolefil Management represented by the Corporate Affairs Division through the Industrial Relations Department; Sarangani Resources Corporation (SRC) as the developer; Mahintana Foundation, Inc. being the company’s social development partner; three (3) Labor Unions represented also by the Union Presidents, beneficiaries and dependents. Mr. Fleming happily announced his all-out support to the project. “As long as I am with Dolefil, housing projects like this will continue,” he said.
After the ceremonial turnover, the beneficiaries were all delighted to receive the keys made even more pronounced when houses were built out of hard work and team work. One of the beneficiaries was unable to hold back his tears of joy when he rendered a message thanking the company and those people who made this project possible. “I never thought of owning my own house since my salary is just enough to provide the basic needs of my family but because of this project, I am very blessed and thankful that I can now have a home I can call my own and share it with my family,” he said.
Meanwhile, the induction of the DGP Homeowners Association followed in simultaneous with the opening and blessing of the new houses. The event was concluded with abundant Filipino food delicacies shared by everyone.
