Project Officer Byron E. Delandrino revisited the Municipalities of Banga and T’Boli, South Cotabato on February 22, 2018 to monitor and troubleshoot the LITS installed during the installation follow-through activity. Both LGUs had already encoded entries to the system such as resolution, ordinances and minutes of meetings.
LGU Banga requested the project officer to address the network connection between the main server and a supposed client station. The project officer disabled the computers’ anti-virus and firewall which barred the client unit to connect to the database of the LITS main server. This action led to the successful installation of the additional client station. The project officer proceeded to LGU T’Boli to help the said LGU install more client stations, however, the LGU was experiencing commercial power failure at that time. He instead instructed the staff how to install the client stations by themselves.
?The project officer traveled to LGU Isulan in Sultan Kudarat for the scheduled LITS installation follow-though on February 23, 2018. The computer units’ system properties were checked, and their operating systems were updated. LITS was successfully installed to the main server and 2 client computers which were already connected to a same network. The staff explored the LITS and started encoding entries to the system as they already have comprehensive filed scanned copies of ordinances, resolutions and minutes of the meetings from year 1952 to 2017. LGU Isulan practices paperless operations and LITS supports this advocacy.
