The Polomolok Task Force Kalikasan, Kaligtasan, Kalusugan at Kabuhayan (PTF4K), initiated by Dole Philippines, Inc., successfully convened its Second Quarter Meeting and Strategic Planning Workshop on April 16–17, 2026, aimed at strengthening multi-sectoral coordination and aligning priority programs for sustainable local development.

The activity was attended by representatives from the Local Government Unit of Polomolok, the Sangguniang Bayan, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Administrator’s Office, Public Safety and Security Office, Municipal Sports Office, Department of Education, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, People’s Council, Public Employment and Services Office, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Municipal Agriculture Office, Municipal Planning Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Sangguniang Kabataan, Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Philippine National Police of Polomolok, with the support of Save the Children Philippines, underscoring a whole-of-government and whole-of-community approach in advancing the Task Force’s integrated mandate.

On the first day, the delegation conducted a benchmarking activity in Davao City to examine established systems, innovations, and best practices in governance and service delivery. The sites visited included the 911 Emergency Response System, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), City Health Office (CHO), Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO), Davao City Special Needs Intervention Center for Children, Davao Food Terminal Complex, and the Davao Museum of History and Ethnography.

The benchmarking activity focused on gathering insights from Davao City’s models in environmental governance, public health, disaster risk reduction, public safety, and local economic development, which are expected to inform and enhance the policies, strategies, and programs of PTF4K.
On the second day, the Task Force reviewed and synthesized the key learnings from the benchmarking activity and identified corresponding next steps for implementation. This was followed by the Strategic Planning for the 2026–2028 period, where the committee formulated and aligned its strategic directions, goals, and priority interventions to further strengthen integrated governance on environment, safety, health, and livelihood development in the Municipality of Polomolok.
