In  a simple yet remarkable affair, members of the Board of Trustees of Mahintana Foundation, Inc. and Sarangani Resources Corporation, together with its management and staff, representatives from partner organizations and project beneficiaries celebrated its 37th Founding Anniversary on August 12, 2014 with a thanksgiving mass held at the Dolefil Gym,  officiated by Rev. Fr. Bobby Parreño- Parish Priest of Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish. In his homily following the Gospel Reading, Fr. Parreño reminded the mass attendees to be as simple and lowly as a child, and to continue working not for self-glorification but finding happiness in being able  to help others and serve a greater purpose.

“Who would object to helping people improve their lives? Who would object to trying to help improve the environment? With the extent of what the foundation has been doing, Dolefil will be proud to continue this partnership for a long time.” Mr. Randy Fleming, Dolefil VP and Managing Director

The mass was followed by a short program graced by no less than the VP and Managing Director of Dolefil Mr. Randy Fleming, Deputy Governor Aemon Gabriel Matti and Municipal Mayor Honey L. Lumayag-Matti. During the program, MFI Executive Director Martiniano L. Magdolot acknowledged the support that has been accorded by the company, the Board of Trustees and the LGU , making Mahintana very active in development work for the last 37 years and  formally announced the upcoming Alay Gabay Invitational Golf Tournament on November 22-23, 2014 at the Kalsangi Golf Course. This will be a fund raising event to benefit the Alay Gabay para sa Maginhawang Buhay Wheelchair Distribution Project.

“In 2 years since I became Mayor, MFI and SRC has been very supportive and i hope that this partnership remains strong because we need all the resources both from the LGU and private partners to implement all the plans and programs of the LGU.” Hon. Honey L. Lumayag-Matti, Municipal Mayor LGU Polomolok
