The Polomolok Task Force: Kalikasan, Kaligtasan, Kalusugan at Kabuhayan (PTF4K) successfully held its First Quarter Council Meeting on January 22, 2026, at Ofeliaโs Restaurant by Esma, Brgy. Silway-8, Polomolok, South Cotabato. Representatives from local government offices, PNP and BFP Polomolok, the Department of Education, Polomolok General Hospital, the Polomolok Local Peoples Council, and partner organizations including Dole Philippines, Inc. and Save the Children Philippines came together, demonstrating the strength of multi-stakeholder collaboration in shaping coordinated, results-driven solutions for the municipality.

Municipal Administrator Mr. Joven Ryan Malida opened the meeting, highlighting the importance of unity, a shared vision, and aligned priorities. Private sector support, emphasized by Dole Philippinesโ Mr. Erwin Balogo, underscored the significance of PTF4Kโs initiatives in advancing community well-being in Polomolok.

As Secretariat, Mahintana Foundation, Inc., through Executive Director Ms. Liza Duropan-Lopez, highlighted the Councilโs 18-year legacy as a multi-stakeholder platform initially focused on health, wellness, and safety, now expanded to address environmental sustainability and livelihood development. She also emphasized partnerships with Save the Children Philippines and the Department of Education in responding to teenage pregnancy, through the implementation of ProPEACE PH and COMPACT Year 4 Project in 2026, supported by Save the Children, and the New Zealand Embassy through GCERF.


During the meeting, the four committeesโKalikasan, Kaligtasan, Kalusugan, and Kabuhayanโworked collaboratively to identify gaps and challenges affecting the municipality. They discussed targeted activities and solutions to address these issues, covering adolescent reproductive and mental health, environmental management, disaster preparedness, road safety, and livelihood support. Key agreements included unified reporting systems, strengthened referral mechanisms, ordinance review and alignment, and the creation of a results-based monitoring and evaluation team to track Council commitments.
The First Quarter Council Meeting concluded with sub-committee follow-through meetings scheduled to finalize action plans, with initial accomplishments to be presented in the next quarterโmarking a strong and focused start to PTF4Kโs work in 2026.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Administrator Dr. Joven Ryan Malida, representing the Local Government Unit of Polomolok, along with representatives from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Polomolok Bureau of Fire Protection, Municipal Engineering Office, Sangguniang Bayan Peace and Order Committee, Philippine National Police, Department of Education, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Polomolok General Hospital, Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office, Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, Public Employment Service Office, Local Peoples Council, Municipal Sports Coordinator, Save the Children Philippines, and Dole Philippines, Inc.
