๐๐ข๐๐, ๐๐๐ข๐กโ ๐ถ๐๐ก๐๐๐๐ก๐ โ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐๐ 15, 2024, Mahintana Foundation Inc., in partnership with Dole Philippines, Inc., and the BLGU-Miasong, celebrated a significant milestone in the community of Sitio Benigno Aquino, Barangay Miasong, Tupi, South Cotabato. The groundbreaking ceremony marked the commencement of a new water system project that will provide clean potable water and support local agriculture.
Barangay Captain Hon. Pablito V. Escobillo expressed his gratitude to the partnering organizations and funding donors, highlighting the critical need for improved water access due to the area’s challenging geographical conditions. The current rudimentary system, which lacks communal tap stands, forces residents to rely on horses or carry water manually. The new project aims to ease this burden by strategically placing tap stands throughout the community.
By ensuring access to clean water, the project will contribute to public health, sustainability, and security, ultimately enhancing the community’s well-being.
