SOLARES livelihood partners of Sultan Kudarat participated in the Seminar on Accounting for Non-Accountants facilitated by Peace & Equity Foundation through Mr. Stefan H. Babera with resourcespeaker Ms. Jessa Tabat, CPA on November 3, 2021 at Cindy’s Restaurant, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat.
The seminar involved the participation of select board members and non-financial staff of cooperatives and people’s organizations to gain knowledge and understanding on the importance of having accounting and financial processes and policies in place. Of the livelihood partners operating in Sultan Kudarat, Bacbacan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BMPC), Keytodac Coffee Growers, Inc. (KCGI), and Kalamansig Farmers Agricultural Development and Marketing Association (KFADMA) participated physically at the venue.
Following the seminar proper, Ms. Tabat and Mr. Babera facilitated coaching sessions for the three livelihood partners regarding action plans and next steps.
