In line with the RESOURCEGov’s objective of helping improve local investments in the target LGUs of Region XII, the project team, together with a team from Dole Philippines, Inc, had a courtesy visit at he Office of the Provincial Governor of North Cotabato last March 11, 2014 , to inform and update the governor of the progress of the project and to signify Dolefil’s interest to invest in the province as potential expansion areas for pineapple production.
Comprising the project team from Mahintana- RESOURCEGov were Project Director Martiniano Magdolot, Project Manager Jobe Tubigon, North. Cot. Project Officers Leonardo Rendon and Hermie Mana-ay and MFI Health Plus Project Franchise Manager Rey F. Gabilagon. The Dolefil team was composed of Director for Land Development Elvis Dy, Consultant Dr. Carlos Gauggle and ComRel Superintendent Leamor Bañaga.
The RESOURCEGov Project implemented in two municipalities of North Cotabato (Aleosan and Libungan) is being funded by the European Union , with funding support from Dole Philippines, Inc. Given the opportunity , Dolefil’s expansion will help improve economic activities in the province and provide employment for local communities.
