The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), under the Office of the President of the Philippines, conducted a 3-day visit of the EU-funded South-Eastern Philippines Health and Economic Alternatives (HEAL) Project last August 23-25, 2011. Members of the team include Mr. Sem H. Cordial, OIC-Director, Mr. Rodelo A. Gariguez, Senior Technical Officer, Ms. Fe Turingan, Assistant Technical Officer, and Mr. Allyn J. Lopez, NAPC Consultant.

The 3-day visit aims to gather and document HEAL project’s good practices in addressing poverty reduction in the region, utilizing the convergence approach, carried out through field visits of assisted barangays and focus group discussions (FGD) with implementing teams, beneficiaries, and LGU partners.
