On March 3, 2026, Dole Philippines, Inc., through the Mahintana Foundation Environment and DRR-CCA Program, formally turned over the Level II Gravity-Fed Potable Water System Project at Fortaleza Farm, Upper Purok 2, Barangay Polo, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

This initiative, implemented in partnership with the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, the Local Government Unit of Polomolok, and BLGU Polo, exemplifies Dole Philippinesโ commitment to corporate social responsibility, aligned with its shared value approach to creating benefits for both employees and the communities where it operates.
The project addresses a long-standing need expressed by the community, where households previously had to fetch water from distant sources. With the potable water system now operational, 50 households will gain reliable access to safe water, supporting improved health, well-being, and overall quality of life.

The turnover ceremony was attended by key partners and stakeholders, including Mr. Masazumi Nishikage, Senior EVP and FPG President, and Mr. Katsuyuki Ohashi, Chief Administrative Officer of Dole Philippines, Inc.; Ms. Margie S. Managuit, Manager of the Envi DRR-CCA Program of Mahintana Foundation; Mr. Erwin D. Balogo, Dolefil Community Relations Senior Superintendent; Mr. Rhyolite Balili, Executive Staff of the Mayorโs Office representing LGU Polomolok; Hon. Rogelio N. Tabiling, Barangay Chairman of Polo, representing the Barangay Council; and Mr. Rugie Cyril Sulla, representing BAU Polomolok and the community of Upper Purok 2, Barangay Polo, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

This milestone demonstrates the impact of collaborative, people-centered initiatives. By prioritizing community needs and fostering strong partnerships, Dolefil and Mahintana continue to advance sustainable development and resilience in the communities they serve.
