The Municipal Health Office of Polomolok, in collaboration with Mahintana Foundation, Inc. and Dole Philippines, Inc., successfully organized the 2025 Heart Walk to celebrate Februaryโs Heart Month with the theme โTamang Pagkain, Ehersisyo at Disiplina, Para sa Pusong Malusog at Masiglaโ. This initiative aimed to promote health and wellness within the local community and was made possible with the support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Polomolok, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Polomolok, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Polomolok, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) through the Task Force Polomolok Kalikasan, Kaligtasan at Kalusugan (TFP3K)

Undeterred by the rain, participants enthusiastically completed a lap around the municipal grandstand. The event brought together members of Dolefilโs Kaugnays, Health and Environment Promotion Officers (HEPOs) from Dolefilโs JobCon, as well as representatives from Dole Philippines, Mahintana Foundation, BFP, PNP, MDRRMO, MENRO, MHO, and the academe.

It also marked the beginning of a sustained effort to enhance overall well-being and environmental consciousness. To further promote an active lifestyle, the event included an invigorating Zumba session. Additionally, Ms. Bianca Bauron, RN, delivered an insightful talk on nutrition and physical activity, emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet and regular exercise for cardiovascular health and overall well-being.
