In celebration of World Environment Month with the theme “𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙. 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚. 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 #𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣,” the Ridge-to-Reef program of Mahintana, funded by Dole Philippines, Inc., together with Local Government Units (LGUs) from Malungon, Kiamba, General Santos City, T’Boli, Surallah, Polomolok, and Tupi, and various stakeholders planted a total of 12,215 seedlings of fruit & forest trees and 1,795 seedlings of Bamboo in June 2024.
With the support of Dole Philippines, Inc., this effort aims to promote sustainable environment conservation and protection measures towards reducing socio-economic vulnerabilities to disaster, adaptation to climate change, and developing resilient communities through an active collaboration with various stakeholders.
