Mahintana Foundation Inc., in celebration of its 47th Anniversary and in partnership with Dole Philippines, Inc., continues its commitment to delivering basic social services in the region by hosting the 7th Alay Gabay para sa Maginhawang Buhay Golf Tournament. This event serves as a fundraiser for a wheelchair distribution caravan aimed at supporting the inclusion of differently abled individuals. The invitational golf tournament seeks to mobilize resources for acquiring and distributing wheelchairs to those in need in Region XII and adjacent communities.
Since 2008, this wheelchair caravan project has organized six invitational golf tournaments, benefiting 3,575 differently abled individuals in the SOCSKSARGEN region, as well as in the provinces of North Cotabato and Bukidnon. Seen as a vehicle of hope and success, the project has provided recipients with a brighter future, greater independence from caregivers, and the freedom to travel, allowing them to live their daily lives with renewed purpose.
