Mahintana Scholar Gives Back to the Foundation

Ms. Jenny Rose S. Tonio, one of the beneficiaries of the scholarship of Palo Para sa Bantay Gubat at Kalikasan, gave a Plaque of Appreciation to Mahintana Foundation, Inc. during its 3rd staff meeting on April 13, 2018. She is the daughter of Mr. Cawe M. Tonio, a Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Enforcer (MENRE)/ Bantay Gubat of Mt. Matutum and Mrs. Mercy S. Tonio, residents of Prk. 3 Kalyong, Brgy. Landan, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

 

She and her whole family came to give the plaque and gave their heartfelt messages of gratitude to the organization. Ms. Tonio said that the scholarship was an instrument for her to reach her dreams in life. She personally thanked Mr. Magdolot and Ms. Hora for the support and trust they had given her.

The scholar graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management from Holy Trinity College of General Santos City on March 28, 2018. She also rendered her on-the-job training in the Mahintana.

 

Partnership Exploratory Meeting with Coca Cola Foundation and AF Mindanao SOCSARGEN Cluster

Mahintana Foundation Inc. hosted the Partnership Exploratory Meeting with Coca Cola Foundation and Association of Foundations (AF) Mindanao SOCSARGEN Cluster on April 5, 2018 at Kalsangi Club House.

The meeting was attended by Coca Cola Foundation, Inc. President Ms. Cecile Alcantara and Program Manager Ms. Monina Pacheco, RD Foundation, Inc. AVP & Executive Director (AF VP-Mindanao) Mr. Ryan Vidanes, Conrado & Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation, Inc. AVP & Executive Director Mr. Don Magtulis, Sarangani Province Empowerment Consortium for Commmunity Transformation Forum (SPECTRUM) Provincial Coordinator Mr. Dennis Matt Callo, Coalition of Social Development Organizations in South Cotabato (CSDO-SC) Provincial Coordinator Ms. Jovelyn Vilbar, Tribal Leaders Development Foundation, Inc. & CSDO-SC Chairperson Executive Director Mr. Dennis Librado, OND-HESED Foundation Inc. Representative Ms. Baby Jane, Sarangani Province Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Mr. Rolando Tuballes, Mahintana Foundation, Inc. President & CEO Mr. Martiniano  Magdolot and Admin & Finance Officer Ms. Liza Hora. The body identified collaboration opportunities with Coca-Cola Foundation Inc.’s programs such as water projects and World Without Waste (environmental clean-up).
